Chocolate dipped figs with flaky sea salt

If you’re looking for a super sweet brace-friendly treat, look no further. This quick and simple recipe will help you achieve a truly scrumptious, chocolate-inspired dish.

Perfect for those with a sweet tooth that are looking to indulge this festive season.

What you’ll need:

Ingredients –

100g Dark chocolate

8 Figs (cut in half)

A few pinches of flaky sea salt

Equipment –

1 baking tray

1 sheet of parchment paper

1 microwave-safe dish

1 stirring spoon

1 serving plate

Chocolate figs

Method:

Step 1 – Line a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper.

Step 2 – Break up the chocolate and place it in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave the chocolate for 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.

Step 3 – First, cut the figs in half. Take the half segmented fig and dip it up to halfway in the chocolate. Lift slowly and place onto the parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and repeat.

Step 4 – When all the fig segments have been dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with salt and placed on the baking tray, place the tray in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Step 5 – Once cool, move to a serving plate and enjoy this delicious festive treat.
