At The London Lingual Orthodontic Clinic, the journey does not stop after your braces are removed; aftercare is an essential part of your overall treatment and ensures its ongoing success.
Following the final phase of your orthodontic treatment at the Clinic, when your braces are removed, you will have fixed retainers fitted behind your six bottom and six top teeth. You will also be given custom-fitted removable retainers that hold all the teeth in place. These are all covered in your treatment costs.
It is essential that you wear your retainers to maintain the alignment of your teeth, so, just as we do, recognise them as part of your treatment. You can learn more about the importance of wearing retainers here
Your overall treatment encompasses a full year of aftercare, which includes:
- Fitting of fixed retainers
- Custom-made removable retainers
- Complimentary in-clinic retainer checks every three months for up to 12 months post-treatment
